‘Uncontained’ blurs the line between cultivation and chaos, inviting the viewer into a world where nature refuses to be restrained. Layers of colour and texture create a sense of movement, as if the composition is in the midst of an unfolding transformation. In this habitat of uncontained energy, life expands beyond borders, untethered and ever-evolving. There’s a tension between the pot “containing”, and the wild life within, and this is also illustrated in the realism of the pot vs the abstract-ish plants.
