‘Indigenous Treasures’ is my second of the genre of Australian flowers. It took coming home to see their appeal… their alien-like-ness of bulbs, fury fingers, and little fluffy balls. Prominent in this piece are the macadamia nuts, which I’ve some do enjoy in the Hawaiian diet as they’re very proud of their macs, but of course, they are originally from Australia (just like me).
